Tradesman specializes in the manufacturing, sales and marketing of aluminum and powder-coated steel work-boxes and liquid-storage tanks. The work boxes are used in pick-up trucks and on job sites countrywide; the liquid-storage tanks are used primarily in industry and by farmers. The users of truck boxes are contract laborers, independent contractors and outdoorsmen who store tools, supplies and personal equipment in these secure storage boxes. The Company had previously marketed these products to the auto aftermarket and to hardware retailers, and over the last five years had focused only on The Home Depot, which accounts for a large percentage of their revenues. Tradesman's products are carried exclusively in all The Home Depot stores. Tradesman, with one of the lowest cost structures in the industry, continues to be a most-valued on-time supplier to this retailer. Transition Capital Partners acquired the assets of Continental Commercial Product’s through a leveraged buyout in partnership with the Company’s operating management in the summer of 2006.
